The man charged with sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl at a Grand Island apartment complex has pleaded not guilty to that charge and two others.

26-year-old Abraham Richardson appeared in Hall County District Court Tuesday.

Richardson pleaded not guilty to first degree sexual assault on a child, kidnapping and first degree assault for the October 2nd incident at Riverbend Apartments.

If convicted, Richardson could face 20 years to life in prison for the sexual assault, life in prison for the kidnapping, and 1 to 50 years in prison for the assault.

He's scheduled to return for a trial in June, with a pretrial hearing on April 30th.

Richardson is currently being held in Saline County Jail on federal child pornography possession and distribution charges. He'll continue to be held there without bond.

He will appear for a change-of-plea hearing in the federal case on April 13th.
