Crews have cleared the scene of a leaking gas line in the area of 7th and N Streets.
Black Hills Energy shut off the gas and Lincoln Fire and Rescue officials are allowing people back in the area.
Just before noon, Tuesday, a gas line break forced an evacuation in the Haymarket. Officials set up a perimeter to keep people out of the area.
According to scanner traffic reports, officials said it was a "pretty good sized leak."
Black Hills Energy, Lincoln Fire and Rescue Crews and a hazmat team responded.
