A Grand Island man has been sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for a robbery spree.
Ryan Greenwood was arrested in May 2012 for a string of robberies, during some of which he allegedly used a shotgun or a machete.
On Friday, a Hall County District Court judge gave Greenwood four to eight years for robbery and attempted robbery. Greenwood also received eight to 12 years for using a deadly weapon to commit a felony. The second sentence will be served consecutive to the first.
Greenwood will also have to pay more than $16,000 in restitution.
