An exotic nightclub in Central Nebraska is fighting to get its liquor license back.
Tuesday the Hall County Board of Supervisors denied the liquor license application for the Edge nightclub in Alda.
The board chair Pamela Lancaster says there are still a lot of questions about the establishment.
Lancaster says a lady named Adriana Horta applied for the liquor license.
"There were two people's names involved and on the application it implied just one, but when the background check was done it was very clear that sisters were planning to operate this together," said Hall County Board of Supervisor Chair Pamela Lancaster.
The nightclub previously had its liquor license revoked due to inappropriate touching between dancers and customers, and other violations.
The Nebraska State Liquor Commission will now take up the issue, because it has the final say.
