Hazmat Crews Respond to Rollover Crash Near Airport

Emergency and hazmat crews responded to a roll over crash in Northwest Lincoln.

It happened just before 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon near North Park Rd. and Airport Rd.

Officials say a semi was navigating a curve in the road when the driver lost control and the semi tipped. They say a fertilizer spilled from the truck and that's why hazmat crews were called in. Officials say the semi was also leaking oil or fuel.

Officials shut down the nearby streets while crews cleaned the area.
