Health Care Hearing Starts Monday

Updated: Mon 5:27 AM, Mar 26, 2012

The Supreme Court begins debate Monday which will decide the fate of President Obama's health care reform bill.

Against it are 26 states, led by a coalition of six attorneys general, including John Bruning from Nebraska.

The justices will hear three days of testimony arguing the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, known by its detractors as Obamacare.

Opponent say Congress cannot force people to buy a product, even if it is insurance.

But those in favor say the law has many benefits, including safe-guarding patients' rights and allowing children to stay on their parent's insurance until age 26.

The hearing will wrap up Wednesday but the court may not hand down a decision until it wraps up in late June.
