Police are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident. They say that vehicle should be easy to spot since it is missing a door.
Just before 2 a.m. officers found broken glass in the street on NW 1st Street just north of West Highland Drive.
Police believe the passenger side of the missing car sideswiped a street light.
The impact knocked one light head to the ground and left the other hanging by its wires.
At the scene, a right side mirror and the skin of the door were left behind.
Police are asking for anyone with information to call Lincoln Crimestoppers at 402-475-3600.
