House Works: Banana Split Popsicles

It's not as hot as it was last week, but still it's feeling like summer. And all of us are looking for ways to cool down. A great way to do that is with a popsicle. In House Works, blogger Alison Bickel shows us a healthy way to make popsicles at home.

Banana Split Popsicles

Makes 6 medium sized popsicles

Popsicle Molds
2 cups whole milk vanilla yogurt
2 tablespoons peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1 banana, quartered and chopped
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/4 strawberry preserves

In a medium size bowl mix vanilla yogurt, peanut butter, chopped banana and mini chocolate chips, stirring until well combined. Spoon yogurt mixure into popsicle molds, filling until about 2/3 full. Top with 2 teaspoon strawberry preserves. Using a knife, making a figure 8 motion, creating a strawberry jam swirl within popsicle. Place popsicles in freezer overnight. Run under warm water to loosen mold, and enjoy!
