House Works: Say "Be Mine" with Plants

We all think about flowers when Valentine's Day rolls around. They always make a great gift for your special someone. But plants could also make a unique gift.

In this House Works, Luann Finke of Finke Gardens and Nursery shares some ideas on how to say "Be Mine" with plants.

In this segment, Luann talks about how to get the most enjoyment out of your Valentine's Day plant. She likes using jasmine and ivy plants. She suggests re-potting to a container that's about two inches bigger than the pot the plant came in. Fill the new pot with a good potting soil mix. Loosen the root ball and place in the new container. You can also turn these types of plants into topiaries, too.
