Lincoln, Neb.-- Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance agent Michelle Berry is trying to get used to the new healthcare system like thousands of others.
"It's changed the way we're used to doing healthcare in general," Berry said.
Berry said the new federal healthcare website has created more options for people to choose from in one location. But, the enrollment process has been slow for people using the new site. The problems vary from the system forgetting log in information to incorrectly pricing different insurance policies.
Berry said the individual insurance companies are trying to educate people as best they can. The problems with the federal site are out of the insurance company's hands.
Berry and other insurance agencies are doing their best to explain the situation to consumers and stay positive moving forward until the problems are resolved.
"We really want to help them," Berry said, "so if they can just be patient, we're doing the best that we can as well."
