A third grader is turning the tables on his Community Connection Mentor who has leukemia by raising money.
For the last couple of years, John Lindenberger has been a positive role model for Jeremiah, but now John has leukemia and he says he's glad Jeremiah is able to give back.
So Jeremiah thought it would be great to help by raising money.
"This is a nice reward for me to see him take that initiative and I really appreciate it," said Lindenberger.
"I'm raising money for him and I said that I'd shave my head bald if I got a $1,000," said Jeremiah.
If you'd like to help in the effort there is a fund set up at Adams Bank and Trust.
The fundraiser is Saturday at the Harvest Christian Fellowship Northwest campus on Rodeo Road starting at 4 p.m.
