The Thayer County Sheriff's office is investigating a fatal crash.
It happened Friday around 6:00 a.m. on Highway 136 about two miles east of Deshler.
Authorities said in a statement, 27-year-old Andrew Sandoval, of Kansas, was driving westbound when he was struck head on by a car driven by 21-year-old Amanda Fayle of Deshler.
Sandoval was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fayle was transported to a Hebron hospital.
