Kearney Girl Accidentally Hit in Foot by Arrow

Authorities say a 13-year-old Kearney girl has been accidentally wounded by an arrow.

Police say the incident occurred about 4:40 p.m. Saturday at Countryside Mobile Home Park in west Kearney.

Officials say a 4-year-old boy with a bow and arrow accidentally shot the girl in one of her feet.

She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney for treatment and was soon released.
