Kmart got a jump on the black Friday deals.
Stores opened their doors at 6AM Thursday morning.
Customers cashed in on door-buster deals, like a 32 inch TV for $97. A 42-inch plasma TV for $199.
Toys and home fashions were also big sellers Thursday morning.
The store manager of the Grand Island store says they'll reopen their doors tonight at eight for even more discounted items.
"Lot of retailers last year opened up earlier kind of just following the trend a little bit to stay competitive and bring customers great deals," said Kmart Store Manager Joe Glaser.
Kmart is typically open on thanksgiving, but this is the first year the stores re-opened its doors at eight thanksgiving night for discounted items.
