Power has been restored after a brief outage in South Lincoln.
An underground fault was identified as the reason for an outage according to L.E.S. Spokeswoman Keley Porter.
The outage began at 2:29 a.m. and effected a small area. Porter says 48 customers were without power between 40th and 46th Streets, from Old Cheney to Briarpark including the traffic signal at 40th & Old Cheney.
Lincoln Police were at the major intersection, slowing drivers down until power was restored and the signal worked again.
Power was restored at 4:10 a.m.
