LFR fire inspectors are investigating a duplex fire in Lincoln's North Bottoms neighborhood as arson.
Crews arrived on scene at 1309 New Hampshire St. just before 8 a.m. Monday.
Officials say residents in the south end of the duplex called to report smoke coming from the roof of the north end.
Residents evacuated the building. LFR crews saw smoke billowing out from the roof and windows.The landlord told 10/11 news he just evicted tenants from the south side of the building where the fire started.
Crews say a firewall between the two residences kept the fire from spreading.
LFR said they have no suspects at this time.
