WAVERLY, Neb. -- An accident on I-80 near Waverly injured three children and two adults. None of the injures are life-threatening.
The accident happened in the westbound lanes near mile marker 412 right around 12 p.m.
Two, 23 year old adults and three very young children, ages 2, 1 and three months were inside the SUV when a tire blew, the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled multiple times ending up in a north side ditch.
The 23-year-old male driver had to be extricated from the wreckage.
A medical helicopter flew him to Bryan West and the others were taken to the hospital by ambulance. None of the injuries are said to be life threatening.
The victims are all from Lincoln.
