LFR Investigating House Fire on Capitol Beach

Lincoln Fire and Rescue are investigating a house fire near Capitol Beach.

LFR crews responded to 1410 Manchester Drive just before 3 p.m. Monday afternoon.

According to officials on the scene, crews saw light smoke coming from the roof upon arrival.

They say it took just 10 minutes to get the fire under control.

LFR says the home is under renovations. A construction crew at the house saw smoke coming from a light fixture, so they called 911. Crews say a small attic fire caused damage, though they haven't said how much.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
