LPD: Teen Arrested After Chasing Ex-Girlfriend in Car, Hitting New Beau

One teen is in custody after chasing his ex girlfriend and hitting her new beau with a car.

According to Lincoln Police Sergeant Terrance Vernon, an officer was flagged over by a woman at 27th and Potter just after midnight Tuesday.

The woman reported that her ex-boyfriend had run over her new boyfriend's foot and pointed a gun at both of them, according to Sergeant Vernon.

Officers found the air-soft gun which 18-year-old suspect used to scare the couple.

The teen was arrested for attempted second degree domestic assault, 2nd degree assault and two counts of making terroristic threats.
