LPD: Taxi-Cab Driver Robbed, Officers Searching for Suspect

Lincoln, Neb. Lincoln police are searching for a man they said robbed a taxi-cab driver late Wednesday night.

It happened around 10:45pm.

LPD said a man walked up to the cab near 19th and E Streets, pointed a gun at the driver and demanded money.

The victim turned over cash from his wallet and from his fares.

Officers say the man responsible ran southbound from the crime.
