Lincoln Police are asking for input regarding new security cameras at 14th and "O" Streets.

Chief Jim Peschong says the plan right now is only to check the tape when a crime is committed.

Peschong says the cameras are not active right now and LPD is seeking input from the public through the Citizens Police Advisory Board and other channels.

Peschong says the new equipment was paid for with confiscated drug cash and adds that the cameras are not yet active.
