Lincoln Police say 49-year-old Daniel Everhart of Lincoln is dead following a collision on Northwest 48th Street. Another person remains in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash caused them to close southbound Northwest 48th Street in Lincoln for a few hours on Friday afternoon, but it has since been reopened.

The crash occurred when a semi-truck was making a turn off of Northwest 48th Street onto the westbound I-80 ramp.
