LPD Makes Two Burglary Arrests, One Wanted on Several Warrants

Lincoln Police say a man responsible for beating up a pregnant woman, teamed up with that same woman to burglarize a home a month later.

Police arrested 20-year-old Caejuan Collier and 19-year-old Amber Brecks at 510 South 24th Street Tuesday afternoon.

Police say a neighbor heard the pair break into a home at 412 South 24th Street around 12:30 and saw them removing items from the house.

When police arrived, the two took off, but were found an hour later.

"The $5,000 in property stolen from the victim's residence was recovered including 2 flat screen TV's, a laptop, several game systems and 103 games. Both Caejuan and Amber were lodged for burglary," said LPD Officer Katie Flood.

Collier was also wanted on three warrants, including a felony domestic assault where police say he beat up Brecks on Christmas day.

She was pregnant at the time.
