Lincoln police say an Eagle man stabbed another man six times during a dispute early Saturday morning in west Lincoln.
Captain David Beggs says 30-year-old Bradly Peters got into a fight with 29-year-old Daniel Lane at 266 Garber Street around 4:20 a.m.
Officers say Peters punched out a window of the house, trying to get Lane to fight him.
They say at one point Peters had a gun, but then put it away. A fight then ensued and Peters got out a knife, stabbing Lane six times in the stomach.
When officers arrived, the fight was still going on. Peters was tasered by officers to get him to stop.
Police say a two-year-old child was present during the fight.
Peters is in the Lancaster County Jail on several charges including use of weapon to commit a felony, first degree assault, second degree domestic assault, terroristic threats, second degree assault with a gun, criminal mischief, and child abuse.
Lane's injuries are non-life threatening.
