Lincoln Public Schools has released their detailed plan for a bond they're hoping will be approved by voters in a Feb. 11 special election.
LPS says the district will is growing quickly. This bond would add 2,200 seats by building a new elementary and middle school, and adding on to other schools.
Other goals are to enhance security for schools, construct a high school career center, and improve the district's technology.
Money would also help maintain current facilities.
Because the district is already operating on a bond - approving this would not change taxes. But if it does not go through, taxes could go down.
