Update: Missing Waverly Man Found Safe in Kansas

Update, Wednesday 12:06PM: According to Sheriff Terry Wagner, Mr. Schroeder has been located in Lyons, Ks, safe and sound. His family is making arrangements with the police department in Lyons to get him transported back home.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's office is asking for help finding 84-year-old Estel Schroeder of rural Waverly.

Sheriff Terry Wagner said Schroeder was last seen driving a gray 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 with a flat bed away from his home near 176th and Havelock.

Schroeder owns farm ground in Seward County and York County.

Sheriff Wagner said this isn't the first time Schroeder has gone missing. Schroeder suffers from dementia and sometimes forgets how to get home or drives until he runs out of gas.

The license plate is a Nebraska farmer's plate, 2-1838.
