A traffic stop along I-80 leads to a major drug bust for the Lancaster Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say a deputy stopped a car for speeding near mile marker 397, Wednesday.
Chief Deputy Jeffery Bliemester says after a consented search, a deputy found 5.675 pounds of meth, a street value of over $250,000.
The driver 44-year-old Kevin Barreau and his girlfriend 39-year-old Addela Cappella were cited for possession of meth with intent to deliver.
Deputies say the couple is facing additional charges, after they discovered their toddler was traveling with them.
"Their one year old daughter was in the back seat of the vehicle and was placed in protective custody. They were both cited for misdemeanor child abuse," said Chief Deputy Bliemester.
Bliemeister says it's the largest seizure in recent history for the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.
