A Waverly man is facing charges of child sex assault after deputies pick up his runaway daughter.
Sheriff Terry Wagner says investigators learned the 38-year-old man had been abusing his 14-year-old daughter over the past seven years.
He says the girl ran away Saturday. When investigators found her Monday, Wagner says she told investigators of the abuse.
Two other male children were removed from the home.
Deputies arrested the father for first degree sex assault of a child, incest and generating child pornography.
The girls mother was arrested for child neglect. Wagner says the mother knew of the abuse, but did nothing to stop it.
To protect the victims identity, 10-11 is not releasing her name or the name of her father.
