The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office says they're investigating two daytime burglaries within just miles of each other.

Deputies say sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday someone broke into a home at 7303 SW 40th. According to reports, the front door of the home was forced open.

Homeowners say TVs and other items were stolen with a total loss of about $1,300.

LSO says another home, at 5001 SW 56th, was burglarized in a similar way. They say the front door of this home was also forced open and the suspect got away with a Wii, Xbox, cameras and a DVD player.

A total of $2,600 items were taken and the suspect did about $2,000 worth of damage to the home.
