Hostess, the company that makes Twinkies, Cupcakes and Wonder Bread, announced this morning it will close its doors for good.
That also means more than 18-thousand workers will lose their jobs.
Tough economic times and a recent strike are being blamed for the shut-down.
Lincoln customer Andre Herman says Hostess will be missed.
"I think it's kind of sad, a lot of kids are going to be disappointed. They can't get their cupcakes, apple pies or the myriad of other things that Hostess makes," said Herman.
