A Lincoln child care provider has temporarily lost her license.
Last week, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services suspended the license of Ashley Ullman who owns a day care at 6034 Madison Avenue in Lincoln.
DHHS deemed the children she was caring for were "at immediate risk of harm."
On October 11, Ullman reportedly left four children under five years of age in a running car while she went into a Lincoln store. She was then arrested for shoplifting while in the store. She also possessed controlled prescription drugs which violated the terms of her license.
Ullman can appeal the suspension in the next two weeks.
