Lincoln Locksmith Robbed at Gunpoint in Air Park

Police say they're investigating a robbery after a Lincoln locksmith was held at gunpoint.

Around 3:20 p.m. Thursday, a 23-year-old man was test driving a car when he stopped at his own home in the Air Park area.

According to reports, when the victim got out the car he was approached by a man who began asking about his locksmith business. The victim told police the suspect asked him about the tools used to unlock doors. When the victim began asking about what type the lock the suspect had, he became upset and pulled a gun on the victim.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and drove off in a cream colored vehicle. Police say the suspect is described as a black male, 5'10" 195 lbs with tattoos on left hand and left arm.
