A Lincoln man had his sights set on winning the Nebraska lottery, and police say he even went as far as altering his ticket.
According to police, 37-year-old Jonathan Tonniges changed the numbers on his lottery ticket to make him the winner of a$35,000 pot.
On October 11th, a 31-year-old woman presented the altered ticket for a payout at the main lottery office saying her boyfriend gave it to her.
The department of revenue interviewed Tonniges. He turned himself into police Monday. He's charged with a class three felony.
