Lincoln Man Arrested After Assaulting Police Officer

Police say a Lincoln man is in jail after he assaulted an officer.
It happened just after 1 a.m. Thursday morning, when police arrived at 40th and A Streets with an arrest warrant for 31-year-old Arron Beinke.
Police say Beinke ran from officers, but they caught up to him about a block later.
Police say the pursuit became a rolling fight. They say the officer was hit in the face, twice.
At one point, the officer used his taser on Bienka, but police say Bienka continued to fight.
Other officers arrived on scene and took Bienka into custody.
He was lodged in jail on charges of assault of a police officer, failure to comply and resisting arrest.
Police say the officer was not seriously injured.
