Thanks to a neighbor and his dogs, police catch a suspected burglar on a stolen Vespa.

At about five Monday morning in the 400 block of South 30th street, police say a man was in his front yard with his dogs when he saw Brian Pozehl riding away on a Vespa. The man also noticed his neighbor's gate and walk in garage door was open.

Police say another officer spotted Pozehl riding the red Vespa near 32nd and Randolph. They found numerous items in his pockets and the Vespa's baskets that appeared to come from burglaries yet to be reported.

Pozehl was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail for burglary.

Police encourage any one in the area of Woods Park who discovers things missing should contact LPD.
