A shot fired in Lincoln a neighborhood leaves on man behind bars.
It happened after 11:00 p.m. Thursday.
Lincoln police were called to the area of 4th and B Streets where a single gun shot was reported.
According to Captain Jason Stille, when officers arrived they learned two men had a verbal confrontation with the victim. Both men had guns and as the victim was walking away, a single shot was fired.
Stille said they recovered a single casing but could not find anything which was struck by the bullet. "We aren't sure whether the shot was fired at the victim, in the air or at something else."
According to Stille, police believe they know the identity of both men involved and are looking for them to hear their version of the incident.
