Lincoln Police are looking for information after a man is found unresponsive on a downtown street.

Officers were called to 10th and N street just after two Sunday morning.

Police say a 47-year-old man was lying on the sidewalk, unresponsive.

Witnesses reported the man crossing the street when a Honda Accord stopped. Police say a black man got out of the car and punched the victim in the face. The victim fell to the ground, hitting his head, and was knocked out.

He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police don't know if the two men knew each other or what lead to the attack.

The suspect was riding in a Honda Accord with another black man and two white women.

He is described as mid to late 20s, 6' to 6'2", 185 pounds.

Call Lincoln Crimestoppers with any information.
