Lincoln Police Arrest Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting 2-year-old

Lincoln Police arrest a man they believe sexually assaulted a 2-year-old child early Saturday morning.

Around 1 a.m. Saturday, a woman called police after finding her boyfriend naked in bed with her 2-year-old child.

The man assaulted the mother as he tried to leave the residence.

The incident took place at her home on the 4500 block of Tranquility Lane.

The suspect's name has not been released, but police confirm they have arrested the man they believe to be responsible. The man is being held on charges of Attempted 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and 3rd Degree Domestic Assault of a Pregnant Female

Paramedics were called to the scene after receiving the call to check on the child. Police say due to the sensitive nature of the incident, they will not be releasing the name of the suspect or the child at this time.
