Lancaster County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a pushy door-to-door magazine salesman for Disturbing the Peace.

LSO arrested Michael Carruthers of Memphis, Tennessee at 8700 South 56th Street after receiving eight complaints from the area.

Deputies say Carruthers proceeded to yell at people who declined to purchase a subscription from him and accused them of racism. One woman told police she was afraid of Carruthers and "shaken up" by the encounter.

Lincoln Police have made contact with Carruthers for similar situations.
