Lincoln Police Arrest Woman on Robbery Charges

Lincoln, Neb. Lincoln Police arrested a 59-year-old woman after she attempted to rob a pizza shop and later held up a coffee shop.

It happened at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday on S. 11th Street in Lincoln.

Capt. Danny Reitan said Katherine Bozell went into the Da Vinci's at 745 S. 11th St. told an employee she had a gun and demanded money. When the employee did not comply immediately the woman left the store and proceeded to Cultiva Coffee.

Police said at Cultiva Coffee, Bozell repeated her threat and the clerk handed over cash from the cash drawer. The female then left the store.

LPD said officers were en route to the scene when a citizen waved down a passing officer and told him Bozell was seen going into an apartment building about two blocks from the scene of the robberies.

Officers were able to find the 59-year-old at 640 S. 12th Street and take her into custody without incident.

Police said Bozell never showed a weapon and officers didn't find one on her. No injuries were reported, and officers were able to recover an undisclosed amount of cash.
