A Lincoln police officer is recovering from minor injuries after a collision Friday morning.
Just before 8:30 a.m., Officer P.J. Lensing was driving south bound on 9th Street when he collided with an SUV.
Police say the SUV was traveling west bound along G Street and failed to yield.
The SUV overturned in the intersection of 9th and G Streets. The driver of the SUV has only minor injuries.
Officer Lensing has minor injuries to his hand.
