Authorities say a 27-year-old man has been arrested after he stuck a Lincoln officer in the face.
Police say Brandin Mothershed had been released from Cornhusker Place Detox to his grandmother just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police Capt. Jim Davidsaver says Mothershed punched and kicked his grandmother's car. Davidsaver says that when officers intervened, Mothershed struck one several times in the face.
Officers say they used a stun gun to gain control of Mothershed so he could be taken back into custody.
He was first taken to a hospital, then to jail.
A Lancaster County jailer said Mothershed remained in custody on Monday.
Online court records don't list the name of his attorney.
