A elderly man has been returned to his residence after wandering off for several hours.
According to Lincoln Police 84-year-old Robert Bundy walked off with two small dogs around 8:30 p.m. Friday, from the area of Cotner and Colby Streets.
Police were called about an hour later and began searching the northeast area of Lincoln.
The State Patrol helicopter also joined in the search.
Trish Klein and her daughter 15-year-old Mariah say they saw the helicopter and wondered what was going on. Mariah looked up 10/11's web story on her phone and the two felt compelled to help with the search.
The Klein's found Bundy just after midnight, near 65th and Adams, nearly a mile from where he started.
Trish said she felt led to the street where they found Bundy.
"We turned down this street and as we, I mean it is kind of dark, but I think my lights kind of shined up there... I just thought that could be my grandpa you know, my father and we just wanted to help," said Trish.
Police say Bundy is okay, but really tired after his walk.
