Around 12:45 Saturday morning, Lincoln Police were sent to the 800 block of Westward Road in northwest Lincoln for a domestic disturbance.

According to Captain Jason Stille, officers started to take 49-year-old Derrick Williams into custody when he resisted them.

Stille said officers used a taser to subdue Williams so they could take him into custody.

Stille said Williams was cited for resisting arrest and child neglect. Williams was arrested and lodged in the Lancaster County Jail for failure to comply..
