Police are looking for vandals who caused thousands of dollars of damage at the Lincoln Public Schools District Office site.

Police say someone carved "LPS R.I.P" into the fresh concrete before it dried.

Crews are trying to repair it, but if they can't, it'll cost $15,000 to replace.

Police also found shoe prints size 9 or 10 in the wet concrete.

The vandalism is right at the entrance of the new district office.

If you know who may be responsible, call Crimestoppers at 475-3600.
