Lincoln Residents Awake to Armed Burglar in Home

Some Lincoln residents are lucky to be safe after armed men break into their home.
Lincoln Police responded to the 5200 block of south 78th street just after 1:00 a.m. Sunday.
Officers say the three people sleeping in the home heard a loud noise and when they went to investigate, they saw one black male already in the home and another about to enter.
One of the residents scuffled with the thief, chasing him until the suspect pulled out a handgun.
Both suspects got into a dark 4-door vehicle and fled the scene.
Police have no suspects and nothing was taken.
