Lincoln Fire and Rescue says no one was hurt when a porch caught fire early Friday morning.

Captain Jim Bopp says the fire happened in the 600 Block of 29th Street just before midnight.

Captain Bopp says the flames were so high, they were visible from nearly a block away.

Captain Bopp says damage was confined to the porch area, although the siding of the house was scorched.

Lincoln fire inspectors are still looking into what caused the fire.
