If you're a fan of the show "Parking Wars," you know all about getting the boot. The orange wheel clamps infuriate the people who get them, often for not paying their parking tickets.
Lincoln thinks it's time to join the ranks to of larger cities who use the vehicle restraint system to enforce outstanding tickets, rather than towing, which gets expensive.
To get the boot removed, an owner would need to pay all back fines plus fifty dollars. The Lincoln City Council will hear the proposal Monday.
We heard from Lincolnites on Sunday. Most folks say they don't mind the possibility of the boot, but not everyone thinks it's a good idea.
