Brews and Blues at the Zoo on Tap for Saturday Night

Lincoln Children's Zoo is hosting its annual Brews and Blues fundraiser on Saturday night.
The 2011 Nebraska Blues Champions, Lil' Slim Blues Band will be providing the blues music, while Modern Monks, Empyrean Ales, Thunderhead Brewing, Lucky Bucket Brewing, Gottberg Brewing and Granite City will be serving up the brews.
The event runs from 6pm to 10pm at the zoo. Tickets to the 21 and over event can be bought in advance for $25 or at the door or for $30.
All of the money raised during the event helps care for the animals and support zoo operations. To purchase tickets visit www.lincolnzoo.org.
