If I could only get my message across to the leftover Christmas trees after a record sales season at Prior Pines. I would let them know that they should hang in there until next year to dress up with bright lights and ornaments.

Kent Prior of Prior Pines is confident that the trees will go to a good home next year. "We sell all the trees that we have. We never have to cut them down just to dispose of them so if they don't get sold we'll put a tag on them and generally someone will buy them."

Prior says this year, leftover Christmas trees are rare after record sales. "I don't know the exact numbers but just by the indication right now, we've sold more trees this year than we ever have."
